I met Crystal and Keith first during their initial trip planing their Grand Old House Wedding in Grand Cayman. They scouted out the venue and location and I had the pleasure to meet them and discuss all their wedding photography details.
Crystal and Keith lived in neighboring towns growing up. His family moved to Crystal’s school district later on in middle school. They became best friends in high school and tested dating but it wasn’t the right time. Both lived ‘separate’ lives for some years but remained in contact as they had the same group of friends. It was obvious to everyone around Keith and Crystal that there was still something between us. The stars aligned and they realized that they should live happily ever after TOGETHER!
Asking Crystal why they choose Grand Cayman as their wedding location, she answered: “We knew we wanted a destination wedding but didn’t have a chosen location. I researched Bermuda and Bahamas but when I started mentioning Cayman Islands Keith’s eyes lit up. He had been when he was younger and had fond memories. I on the other hand had never been but trusted his judgment. We visited last August with plans A, B, and C for hotels and venues. Plan A was a go and we spent the rest of the weekend snorkeling and exploring the island.”
